      It’s not often I have images unassociated with an event. When I add images to an event, I can optionally add a note of explanation. It then displays alongside the image.

      i have no explanation why this is suddenly dawning on me after all this time. I just added an image, not associated to an event (using Album tab), isn’t showing the associated note. Is it there a method to do so?

      Not on permanent display. The design of the Album tab just wouldn’t work, especially when some people write short stories as notes!
