    I forgot to follow-up with this. Same situation in my A-D site just happened so went back to find this thread. The above give the records that are similar to current situation.

    To create the “adopted family”, I went to the Families page of the child and clicked “Link this person to an existing family as a child”. Chose the FAM and selected ADOPTED from the drop down.
